Butterfly Affect

As the world is shook by the advent of the first Changeling Waves, a young man with a differently wired brain than most wakes up in the body of a woman with butterfly wings. Anxious and lost, they must make do with the support of their best friend and roommate to navigate the unfamiliar waters of their identity.

Content warning: This story revolves around two characters heavily uninformed on the intricacies and terminology of transgender discussion. Expect some conflations of words like sex and gender, potentially upsetting wordings in dialogue and thoughts, subconscious enforcing of pronouns based on sex, and a general lack of knowledge on the topic coming from them.

A note about the epubs: I have learned a lot more about how shitty google docs is today than I ever expected to. I did my best to clean up a lot of the export mistakes present in the epubs, but any further would've been beyond the scope of a quick upload to itchio. The black and white version should be compatible with more eReaders, while the colored text version should be a bit closer to the intended reading experience (though it is stuck in light-mode because of it). If you feel like firing up Sigil and fixing every little weird thing about this version, well, that's what the CC-BY license is for.
